On behalf of the Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) of Windham High School we would like to inform you about our newly established club that is attempting to unite all students, student athletes, and the Windham community to one team.
SALT is a student run club that promotes good character, respect, and sportsmanship on/off the playing area.
One of our goals is to increase school spirit and support for our various teams here at WHS. To do this, we will organize school-wide events such as student fan of the year, athletics day, and through creating student sections at home games. As a newly built school, spirit and pride in being a jaguar is not the most abundant quality amongst student athletes. However, SALT is a “team” that promotes these coveted attributes and brings the school together at the same time.
The best representatives, whether they are nominated, chosen, or volunteers, will be a part of this leadership team by giving one another their input to better our school and community. By combining all of our thoughts and ideas together into this one culminating club, SALT will make a difference here at WHS.
