posted 09/02/2010 1st Annual WINDHAM JAGUAR BOOSTER CLUB GOLF CLASSIC SCORES A HOLE IN ONE!!
The Jaguar Booster Club couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to tee off the First Annual Jaguar Booster Club Golf Classic on Friday, August 27. Fourteen foursomes including community members, booster members, family and friends, coaches, teachers, student athletes and administrators hit the links and enjoyed a fun round of golf at the Windham Country Club. Jynx the Jaguar was found prowling the links too! After their round, golfers came back to the clubhouse and enjoyed a great bar-b-que. Tournament winners were Al Adamson, Vinnie Sullivan, Peter Blake (President of the Pelham Booster Club) and Uncle Pete Blake.
Raffle prizes and silent auction items were awarded after lunch. Golfers walked away with gift certificates for dinners, massages, Canobie Lake Park tickets as well as Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins tickets, a power washer, a generator and more. Local community members, businesses and sponsors generously donated all of the prizes. Thank you to: Canobie Lake Park, Shaws, Walmart, Common Man, Margaritas, Meadow Creek Country Club, Cyclone Arena, the Miller Family, Pam Begin, Nashua Golf & Ski, Marrotta Insurance, Safety Glass, The Ice Center and Eastern Tools & Equipment for their generous support.

Our undying appreciation goes out the Joanne Flynn and the staff at the Windham Country Club for making the tournament an outstanding event! Money raised from the tournament will go towards Booster Club scholarship fund; seasonal sports recognition nights and other needs within the athletic program. We look forward to next year!

posted 09/01/2010 Saturday Night Movie Under the Stars
The Windham Jaguar Booster Club had a great opportunity to work with the Mall at Rockingham Park at their wonderful Saturday night Drive In Movie series “ Movies under the Stars”. The Booster Club and Windham High student athletes provided the concessions during the Movie Under the Stars events. The Boosters sold typical movie yummies such as popcorn, candy, chips, soda, and water during the event. The group sold glow sticks as well. For the last movie night, student athletes and our brave field hockey coach, Loren Dow even stepped up and into the dunk tank for some extra fun!
The weather couldn’t have been better and the Boosters loved working with the Mall at Rockingham Park staff during the movie nights. Their generous support and fabulous execution of the event made for a great night out for everyone.
The Boosters would like to thank Emily and Shannon, the mall organizers of the Movies under the Stars, for the opportunity to work at such a great event. We look forward to working together again in the future. We would also like to thank all of our student athlete volunteers, making this fundraiser a success was truly a team effort, each and everyone of you stepped up and made the evenings fun while still working hard! I know the kids in the audience loved when you got the Cotton Eyed Joe dance going. Your enthusiasm and hard work was commendable. Thank you ! Thanks to the hard working committee members: Laurie Liddy, Bridget Swift, Calice Ducey, Stella Khoury, Linda Adams, Bill Raycraft and our parent volunteers, who came and ended up with nothing to do because our student volunteers had it under control!
